Lets see in the first video you posted, the car is running 1/8 miles in the videos. You can see at 2:21 of the first video he ran the 1/8 mile at 7.30. I'm sorry but that does not impress me. I think I could beat that by more than a bumper.

Third is a link to a post that says someone did 200.9 on 3-24-12. I looked it up and the run does exist on the Texas mile archives. Perhaps the dodge owners I talked to at the mile this spring were unaware of the record or maybe I did not understand. Regardless if you check the records, no Dodge was faster than my car this spring. That was my point when I first commented and if you look at the same archive where your Challenger did a whopping 200.9 you see a 2010 Camaro did 243.2.  You are on a Camaro forum and in case you didn't know it. Camaro is still king in the unlimited racing world. GM is just too easy to modify. |

I posted a drag strip video of a car that went 200 in the texas mile. Thats it.
Posted a video of another challenger breaking 200 at another mile event.
Then posted a link that you verified yourself of a challenger breaking 200 at the Texas mile. The exact event you claimed to KNOW a Challenger has NEVER hit 200. Now it comes out that what you "knew" was in fact only what you were told by what im guessing is guys you look up to at the event. You did no prior reseach of your own before making that claim.
I never said the challenger has gone faster in the mile. Just simply proved you wrong on the 200mph part. So why bring up what the camaro has done in the mile?

What part of a 7sec dodge challenger dont you understand? Its been done, and it wasnt yesterday. Modern Mopars have been in the single digits before the 5th Gen was even released. After all we're talking the unlimited racing world right? So can your car beat the 7 sec challenger? Is there a 6 sec 5th Gen out there?
Edit: I just looked up your threads and i honestly thought your car has broke 200 with the way you were talking. It hasnt. Im not knocking it one bit tho. You have a pretty good mod list and know first hand how hard it is to get such a heavy car to that mark. So why knock the challenger even if it hadn't broke 200. Neither have you. I have no doubt you will get there with future mods. Kudos to you! Again i have no hate toward you or your ride. Its bad ass for sure and white is by far the best on a ZL1.
