The splash guards replace the black plastic panels at the rear of each wheel opening. The factory pieces are flush with the outside of the fenders, the splash guards taper out to about 1" past the fenders. They can reduce the amount of rocks and road crud kicked up against the sides of the car by a fair bit. I have the unpainted ones on my CGM coupe, which blends in nicely. The white ones would be the color matched ones on RPI's website. Just click the box and scroll down to select your color of choice. Carbon Flash would be good, as would white, with your color combo. Yes, the painted ones are more $$, due to the extra labor & material involved with the painting process.
