I don't generally pick on econocars unless they're the ones who instigate such behavior, and even then, I generally just give them a small demonstration of just how out of their league they are before I back off.

However, I do remember one incident about 10 years ago where I was trolled by a Camaro while I was driving this...

I pulled up to a red light so that I can get onto the northbound I-95 on-ramp, where there was a white 94-95 base convertible in the next lane; he starts revving at me with his V6, while the driver, a guy in his 40s-50s, had a rather ridiculous-looking grin on his face. I'm thinking, "O.....kay?". He lets off a pathetic chirp from his tires slightly before the light turned green, while I shift into 1st and pull away normally when the light turned green as we both turned onto the onramp...

Long story short, I demonstrated to him that it's not generally a good idea to pick on a 'economy car' that's not too far behind him in the horsepower department and almost a thousand pounds lighter...

He did of course, perform the customary rage flyby past my 200SX once he caught up with me (which for him, did take a while).

Being that the town I lived wasn't too big at the time, I had another encounter with the same white Camaro ragtop about a week later. He pulled behind me while I was waiting at a red light at an intersection. This time, he didn't rev at me, nor was he smiling. This time, he had a look of disbelief as he looked at me. I rolled down my window and jokingly asked him if he wanted to run me again. He didn't reply and looked straight ahead. Might possibly have had something do with not driving my Nissan that day, but the other car I had at the time...
