I think the 6th gen will probably remain the same weight, based off of ATS weights and CTS weights. So the weight advantage will pretty much be gone for the mustang. I think in the end it'll come down to that mag ride.

The magnetic ride control is only available on the high end expensive ATS models. If they want to offer it for the 6th gen as a option great, but I don't want it coming on the car standard. That just adds more weight and cost that I don't want to pay.
The 6th gen is going to lose weight. Its going to happen. The only question is how much. If GM polled every 5th gen owner who knew anything about their car and asked them what would you change, one of the first responses would be weight. Same goes for all the magazine testers. If the 6th gen doesn't lose weight it will be a big epic fail.
