I don't think the slight weight gain is going to impact Mustang performance. Even if they don't do anything with the 5.0, it's going to be an improved overall car. The one piece Ford has been missing is a suitable chassis, everything else is already there. I suspect people will be pleasantly surprised at track performance. Team Camaro is going to really have to do its homework for gen 6, weight savings or not.
