I think that every person should have to serve in the Military for a minimum of 2 years after they turn 18! It would teach em a little respect for their fellow people in our country and others! I served in the U.S. Navy for 9.5 years till my knee put me out and anyone whose served can tell you that there are some pretty hosed up folks out in the world, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't respect their beliefs!
