I am going to have to go with a 1966 Corvair Corsa Coupe.
The factory optional 180 HP turbocharged engine beat all other Chevrolet engines that year in HP per Cu In, and in torque per Cu In. Chevrolet managed all this with only 164 Cu In and a car that weighed 2475 pounds.
A 427 would have to have made 469 HP and 690 ft-Lbs of torque to match it!!!
Just sayin.
PS. It came with a cylinder head temperature guage, manifold pressure guage, and fully independent rear suspension, STANDARD.
