I will say it is more important to satisfy the non-enthusiast as far as expectations of overall size/interior space are concerned. Look at the FR-S/Subaru twins, they listened closely to enthusiasts, kept the price, size, and weight low, but have failed to generate much in the way of sales.

Yea, I'm one of those that love the 5th Gen size! Because it's not a typical two door size! Plus the 1st Gen , 60's camaro was the same size and it didn't have no problem beating the mustang or. competing with it! This is why I love the challengers! Too! The size is one of the things that made the Camaro special!
