Some may not like that size for the Camaro, but I agree, that is about the right size IMO. The ATS proportions are modeled after the 3 series, for many good reasons.
I will say it is more important to satisfy the non-enthusiast as far as expectations of overall size/interior space are concerned. Look at the FR-S/Subaru twins, they listened closely to enthusiasts, kept the price, size, and weight low, but have failed to generate much in the way of sales.
