I love my hunting dogs like family, and when I was 12 I lost my first one and it was incredibly hard for me. I don't let them lick my face ever. I don't subscribe to the thought that if you love your dog enough you let them lick your face. I couldn't love my dogs more than I do and I don't let them do that.
