He is wanting to completley discredit U.S. weight standards and use EU weight standards because it makes the Mustang look better. That's fine and all but at least compare it to other cars with the same weight standard, good lord.

He's just pointing out that with the new US curb weight standards, comparing cars will now be a bit difficult if going off of the manufacturers weights. These dont necessarily represent base weights as we've been used to in the pass.
Simply meaning that this new weight could be a GT Premium with the PP already equipped, if 30% of mustang GT buyers opt for. If that is the case, then its safe to assume that the Base GT is pretty close to the same weight or even a little under. No one knows for sure yet what is actually included lol. We'll all still have to wait for the magazine comparos and the weights they grab.
I'm totally cool with the slight weight gain. I kind of expected it.
