It has a recessed screen instead of a flush screen like a lot the modern netbooks - allows them to use a better screen, at the expense of slightly larger dimensions. I'm cool with it.

I like my satellite too. Other than the fact that its too old, too slow, and a bit too big for what I want. Oh, and the fact that the battery connector has a s****y design and gets broken loose all the time, requiring me to spend 2+ hours taking the notebook apart to re solder it... well, lets just say it was time for an upgrade.
Like I said - I'm happy with my new book so far (I've had it for 3 hours... heh). Still need to get used to the keyboard, but its that way with any new lappy after having a different one for a while.
And with linux, I basically don't even have to run antivirus.
