I'm going to guess around 450+ HP...especially if the weight gain is that much. It could be more. Ford knows what they could be up against when the 6th gen Camaro hits the streets...and that's a lighter Camaro with a torque happy, powerful LT1 engine on the Alpha chassis which gets rave reviews for its driving dynamics.
As I've said again and again, I have no doubt the 6th gen will eclipse gen 5 in every way when it comes to performance and being a better drivers car. The only question will be....how does it look?
I already know I'm no longer interested in the Mustang due to it looks.

lol...exactly. The outcry on the Mustang forums is a bit fun to see, as many are threatening to cancel their order or just not order at all. Don't get me wrong...I hate the weight too. I'd love to magically pull 300 lbs out of my car, but what they all refuse to see is that the car will be a much better drivers car, and will likely start off with much more power than their current GT has. No way Ford is going to let the 14 be faster in a straight line than the 15. It will be the same, with much better handling, or slightly quicker with much better handling.
They are all simply afraid of eating crow, b/c now they will be joining the fat pony club.
