Lol, towed a 21' boat one time up to the Adirondacks. Have no idea how it did it, but it made it there through all the hills and everything and back with all of 150hp.

Obviously that comment was an exaggeration, god forbid someone bashes the general.
In a seriousness though, the Explorer is damn capable. Way more are put to off road use than pickups with a LWB and running boards. They last forever too, even beaten down. That's why you still see them everywhere.
