Fricken Hail Near-Miss or Hit?

Yesterday, for anyone in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, or KY was a bad weather day. We had a 30% chance of hail larger than a golf ball. Somewhere in Illinois experienced grapefruit sized hail! http://www.wlky.com/weather/storm-da...ports/26117084
I'm a truck driver and park my Camaro in Indiana, then drive to Ohio. All day, my phone went off with thunderstorm warnings. Needless to say, it was a nerve wracking day. Theres a security shack right next to our parking lot and I think I have that phone number memorized now.
Me: "Did we get any hail?"
Guard: "Yeah, it hailed pretty good."
Me: "How big?"
"Uh, about the size of a marble. Maybe a mothball."
"Have you seen any damage?"
"Haven't been outside except to check the trucks in, but I'll check before I leave, call back in about 15."

I called back and got the next guard who clocked in.

"He just left. But he told me to tell you that there's a little bit of damage."
...
"On everyone's cars? Was he talking about mine?"
"He didn't say."

I was in Ohio when that conversation happened. Two hours plus later, I pulled in. I bypassed the guard shack and drove over to the side of the lot where I'm parked. There was lots of water beads on the car still, a few leaves. I can't see because its 2am. I parked my truck and unhooked my trailer, (not in that order, felt like it since my head was in another place and my heart was pounding.) I went around the lot and back out to my car. I looked it over. I didn't see anything upon first glance. I barely grazed my hand across the roof. Phew! No damage. But what a terrible feeling that was. I even half jokingly offered to have my friend come pick up my car and park it in a parking garage. For those of you who have a garage, count your blessings!
