Figuring that the battery was pretty well shot, I went by AutoZone to have the battery tested (it had been replaced by GM under warranty in mid-February)... their test showed that it was a bad cell and not a slow drain. I bought another battery, since I didn't know if I would have time to deal with dealer testing, etc ... and the car wouldn't start without jump start and dropped the warranty battery off at Chevy for testing.

Hopefully, their test will confirm bad cell, and will have another battery as a spare (or pass along to someone else in need). Will find out pretty soon if the lights are causing issues ... it certainly didn't take long before.

All the aftermarket stuff sometimes slowly but surely drains the battery. I got my Battery Tender Jr from Walmart on-line, $23, its like $6 less on-line. Makes no sense, if you go into the store and grab one, you pay more, and if you order on-line, an employee grabs it off the shelf and brings it to you for less money...... Go figure, I guess that's technology. Anyway, if you ever let the car sit for a week or so I'd get a battery tender. Doesn't overcharge the battery either.
