I brought her home Friday morning and had her tucked away in the garage by 11:00. Shortly there after it started raining. Up yours Mother Nature!
The weather cleared up by noon and as tempting as it was to take her out, I did not. I wanted to wait for my wife to get off work cuz I didn't want the first drive to be without her.
After supper, we took her out and put 150 miles on her during a nice leisurely evening drive to my parents' house and places beyond.
The car performed flawlessly and stayed glued to the ground while carving corners on an 8 mile stretch of S-Curves and elevation changes called the Brandon Blacktop(V71/Freeman Ave/26th Ave), near Brandon, Iowa between Hwy 150/55th Street and D48/330th Street. This stretch of road was also repaved 2 years ago and is butter smooth. Perfect for some serious corner carving.
My new C7, my wife beside me, the Brandon Blacktop, AND 33.3 mpg's... it doesn't get much better than that!
