I seem to be able to get off the line much faster (less tire spin) using launch control. Without it the nannies really bogs down the engine. Most FUN is to start using Launch Control and never let off Full Throttle. Red Line, and right into No-Lift-Shifting thru the gears. That way you stay in Boost thru each gear! I've tried turning everything OFF, and fagetaboutit, the tires spin just punching the accelerator, and its easy to get sideways, which ain't a good thing. So for me, an amateur driver, I like the performance modes and computer assistance.
