My Dad was a mechanic, we bought cars to drive and when something went wrong we fixed it and then drove it some more!!
I agree with Asptroopa1, I didn't buy it to keep it in the garage for some lucky dude.
I bought to enjoy it and that includes driving it and working on it and keepin it clean.
