So they're pretty clear they don't want you to use it at a track unless you want to void warranty; but if you have friends and a private road and are just doing runs to mess with it, then it will not void the warranty.

In other words the engineers are giving you a way out while appeasing the lawyers who wanted the warranty void added. Just say you weren't racing.
