I just wouldn't lie about something that could be easily found out if I were you. Just tell the recruiter and they may be able to do something for you. If you lie it'll land you in even more trouble and possibly end the cop journey for you.

Ohhh I am not saying lie, I just think it is dumb they are still preventing people from employment because they don't have 20/20 vision in this day in age. I understand military, but the regular ol joe job. Like I know in the NFL you are not allowed to wear glasses.
I don't have to worry about not have perfect vision or not having perfect vision when I was younger.
