I do have to say, GM makes it easy for Ford to up the ante in the horsepower wars. GM builds an engine and that's it for the life of the engine. Ford constantly upgrades their engines for more power.

You can make close to 500 n/a (5.0) already with the Ford Racing Cams, Cobra Jet Intake, and lt's....these dohc motors make gobs of hp when setup right. Besides the Boss is really 450+ not 444.
