You are thumping your chest on this comment a little too much. ~30 horsepower down on the next closest model and a little extra weight on the previous iteration. Now with a likely better interior, the addition of an 8 speed to the mix, and matched power - the only downfall I see is some extra weight.
If you are looking to maintain the "on par" statement - you are definitely a pessimist.
