This is the first car I've owned that has a back-up camera. I'm getting the hang of using it by backing up and getting out of the car to check where I've stopped compared to where I think I've stopped based on the colored lines in the display. I find that using the red lines gives me the most accurate distance and I'm comfortable now with stopping just before the red lines contact what I see.
I still use the mirrors and have both the driver's and passenger side programmed to tilt down when the car is in reverse. This comes in handy when curbs are involved.
I may add the "curb alert" system for the front end. A friend installed it on his Stingray. Just waiting to hear his comments about the install and how accurate it is.
There are posts on installing this device and the feedback, overall, is pretty good.
