Wow lol, I rarely hear of people doing that. I hear machine apply and hand removal but hey that's cool. Myself personally(and this is just my personal opinion) I would not put a buffer on my car and remove anything. When you are apply wax the wax acts as a slight lubricant. Helping to prevent scratches, but when removing you are going down to the paint or top layer of protection with a machine. It might not do anything at all and make the job easier. I just don't know and don't intend to test it out on my paint lol. This is just my rationale behind not doing that.
