A dog who was bitten by another dog. Doesn't sound too bad, right?
Well, the owner, in all her wisdom, decided that it wasn't so bad and tried to treat the wound herself.
A week later, the leg's gone into necrosis, there's a horrific stench emanating from this dog, and she thinks we can just amputate it and everything will be all right.
Well I got news for you lady. Infection's already spread. Your dog's dying in front of you because of your stupidity. You could've called us the day your dog was bitten, but nooooo.
Dog was euthanized. After the procedure, we looked under the leg and found the flesh of this dog had literally rotted away. You could actually see the dead blood vessels and bronchial artery, not to mention all the bones.
Disgusting. People are idiots.

Yea only certain people can handle hospice human or vet. I can't... I would last about.. 2-3 hours and then quit. On a slow day. I can't handle the blood and guts.
