I don't think he is asking about any Camaro recalls.
He is wondering about how recent GM recalls in general will affect the overall health of the company.
And what or how that might affect the value/perception of any other GM products.

This ignition switch issue on their compact cars is a serious issue, as there have been multiple fatalities involved and the lawsuits will start piling up.
However, other manufacturers have "weathered the storm" on similar issues (Toyota, Ford, Firestone, etc).

For sure this is going to cost GM a lot of money and potential customers.
But this is what any manufacturing company deals with on a daily basis these days.
Nobody is immune to issues or problems.
