Good Morning crew. Well, I hate to say it, but we decided that the camera was not the one for us. Apparently to get the sort of zoom we want we would need an even bigger lense. Plus I just son't like the fact that the image you see in view screen when you zoom is not the framing of the image you get when you take the pic. Apparently that is just the way it works for that camera. For what we do and how we use the camera, it is just not the one for us. Nikon also makes a single lense camera with good zoom capability, not as heavy & more user friendly in the same color. We will be getting it.

A camera with a huge zoom lense on it is just not a practical thing to be hauling around at drag race & auto cross events. At a car show you can walk right up to anything you want a close-up of so the normal lense would be okay but at action events sometimes you need to zoom in to get the shot you want. I want good pics but no plans to be a professional. This will be more our speed.

Today is my last day this week in the new Nashville office & tomorrow will be my first day working (once again) out of the local Springfield office. I have to gather some things to take with me as you need toys & books to do therapy with preschoolers. That part will be a pain in the butt, but it will be nice to not have to make that awful drive at least one day a week.

HAGD all.
