My point was my car has a DCT and is about as fast as the SS...............and it's not a sports car.
I appreciate your desire for a manual. It's just not likely to happen.......and as always, I hope I'm wrong and they surprise us.

You're wrapped around the axle on this "sports car" thing... I should have said "car with sporting or performance-oriented intentions." That can be a Ferrari, a BMW M3, a Chevelle SS, a Ram SRT-10, an Audi S4, etc.
If they offer the SS in manual transmission, I would start exploring options for selling my thirdgen...
