Just a thought: the aero plate comes in the "soft-touch" matt textured plastic similar to the interior console. It's not much effort to get it painted either Carbon Flash Metallic to match the factory grill, or even body color to match your car. I painted mine Carbon Flash for when I decide to put it on the car. It looks way better than the bare plastic! And blends into the grill better too.
