Read the latest MT article....they take the Challenger over the 'Stang....oh, did I mention this was the GT500, not just a GT...

Sure, the 'Stang wins the drag race by tenths of seconds, but they even point out that the Challenger has more weight and less (75 less to be exact) horsepower.

(Based on all this, I would say that clip in the original post was of a considerably modified GT.)

Final note, yes, when you consider a significant price difference (I would say $6K is significant enough), you would expect the pricier car to be faster. So the GT500 shouldn't beat the overweight, underpowered Challenger by just tenths, right? Plus, you get better MPG and warranty with the Challenger. So, which pony car is overpriced/overrated?
