Nevertheless...such a recall is quite serious for such a do-no-wrong automaker. Something like this...on such a scale...SHOULD have been caught in testing for age and wear. I have to admit that I didn't originate the term, but I have yet to see anyone in a rusted Accord with mismatched panels and a bee hive for a muffler break the speed limit. It's really sad when your green Subaru on a second engine with grinding metal sounds blaring from the wheel wells accelerates, without any effort, past a revving Civic with a fully depressed gas pedal.
