I'm ordering a '15 also. But mine will be a 2lt....no z51. So I won't have to worry too much about constraints. My dealer tells me 6-8 weeks from the time I place my order (based upon his historical vette ordering timeline).

If you want to ensure not getting your vette until Jan '15 (assuming your dealer will still have allocations available), I'd order around the 1st of Dec.

With the holidays and plant shutdowns, you'll guarantee delivery after 1 Jan.

Problem will be if all your local dealers allocations have been filled....then you'll have to go somewhere else. There are some very large Corvette dealers nationwide who can get what you want in a relatively short period of time. If you're familiar with another Corvette forum website....that's where you'll find them. If not, shoot me a message, I'll let you know.
