That kinda reminds me of an idea I've had for a while ... I've been kinda curious to see how a new midsize pickup compares in capability to a half ton from 15 or 20 years ago. Or new 1/2 ton vs older HD. Not just the basic facts & figures, but a full-on comparison test from a reputable magazine/website. I think it would be pretty interesting to read.
