I really like the Tavor, very smooth shooting, very natural ergo's with very minimal recoil. The only thing I've shot that compared to it in handiness was an MP5. The Tavor uses a long stroke gas piston like an AK and has good reliability.
I was concerned about the noise but with the A2 flash hider it doesn't seem any louder than my 16" AR-15. This is not a good picture but gives you idea of the Tavor overall length. The Tavor has a 16 1/2 " barrel compared to my 16" AR. The stock on the AR is one position short of being fully extended.
