I have State Farm and my premiums have DECREASED over the past year, which is weird because I have gotten a ticket.
I didn't have a car or insurance in my name for several years before I bought my Camaro, so the lady at the office told me I was initially classed as a higher risk and that after 6mos, and then a year I was given a more preferential rate. Also I have my home and car bundled and own both outright with no financing so she said that lowers my risk too.
