Actually I feel that they may have thrown a bit of Fallout 3 in there in a vague sense. And having played it (right now even) I can say that being a FPS and RPG isn't a bad thing, especially when you can switch between first and third person.
Now if that's there, then I've got another game to rent after I pick up New Vegas.
