I'm pretty sure you can the only difference is it wouldn't sign him in automatically since the xbox doesn't recognize him so you would have to go over to "Sign In" and choose his account. But once connected you can do all the voice controls as well...during the SB had some friends over and of course they decided to **** with it and they turned it off
