Played Forza 5 for the first time (I don't personally own an X1 yet, though I'm an avid fan of the Forza series) the other day and it wasn't quite how I expected it. The graphics were great though I kind of expected better. It was mainly the edges of the cars being lined with billions of tiny jaggies. Took all of the attention away from the beautiful car models.

The game drove like a dream though, and as much as I enjoy challenging AI, I didn't so much enjoy the AI that just rammed you off the road. Thankfully there only seemed to be 1 or 2 cars that wanted you dead per race and (as you would expect), they were never the top 3 so as long as I stayed competitive, they weren't a problem. The rumble triggers were really distracting at first but I can see the appeal for sure. I'm sure a few hours in I'd be used to it.

Overall, aside from the tiny list of cars and tracks (compared to previous entries), it looks to be another step forward for an already great racing franchise. Hopefully by the time I get an X1 there will be a version out that includes all of the DLC.
