Pretty ironic that it seems a lot of people view 4th gen Camaros as gas guzzlers, however they don't qualify. Seems the LS motor equipped ones got too good of gas mileage.
Not that I agree with the article below on the cars value, (if I could pick up a nice 2001 Z28 for $3000 I'd find it hard not too buy it).

As much as owners of the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 might love their car, they'd probably jump at the chance to get their hands on the government's $4,500. "Cash for clunkers" would be a good option for them, but the Z28 doesn't qualify.
Believe it or not, this muscle car's fuel economy is too good. It gets a combined city and highway fuel economy of 19 mpg, 1 mpg too high.
That's a major bummer for Z28 owners, since the car is worth considerably less than what it could have gotten from Uncle Sam.
