I had a '96 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham for a couple years. Huge, beautiful car; essentially the same car and drive train as the Impala SS's. That LT1, with a few light mods, was lucky if it made 300hp but I could never believe how quick it was. I could chirp the tires going into 2nd with the automatic! Kind of wish I could have held onto that car since it was the last of the big Caddy's.
