I'd rather see GM make (in no particular order):

New Grand National (and subsequent GNX)
GMC Syclone
Pre-runner/Raptor type truck based off the Colorado (not the Silverado)
Escalade-V (something about a giant luxury SUV with about 10 lb/hp seems so wrong and yet so right)
Cruze SS
ELR-V (yes, I realize I might be the only one who thinks that could be cool)
Monte Carlo (V6 & V8 only; could also spawn a Buick Riviera)
Nova (done as a BRZ/FRS competitor)

I don't think all of those are exactly marketable ideas, or even good ones. But I like each of them more than a midsize performance SUV
