I think it's interesting and it's a unique design of retro & modern, of far eastern style. It also looks more like the Datsun 510 married to the flanks of a vintage Celica... here's their Nismo version, a Brock Yates tribute.

Also, that concept kinda reminded me of this old school classic... a '66 Nissan Silvia I recently saw at the Toyota Automotive Museum in Japan. This 2-seater coupe Silvia CSP311 was built on a Fairlady chassis and had a 1.6L with 90hp... back in the day it was considered a radical design.
