Perspective my friend.
The car shown was said to be a new era Muscle-car with lots of performance goodies. Hence the comparison.
Do I personally think the Z/28 is expensive? Yes. Do I think it overpriced? Not really. I do believe it has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than most expected, therefore driving the price up.
