I remember seeing a report on that little car on TV... looks pretty cool. I would definitely consider a similar design for a commuter car.

I agree about the roadster design though... it doesn't lend itself to much practicality. However, it would be difficult with today's technology to build a full-size car on the same premise that would get anywhere near that distance per charge or performance.

I wonder however if they could produce a design that recycles all of the kinetic energy created through the movement of the car and use it to recharge the batteries. I know the Toyotas do that when the gas motor is running, but just think how cool it would be to have an electric car that recharges itself through the rotation of the wheels.
