50 grand is pretty good for 600 hp, and those cars weigh 3200 lbs without driver or ballast, I think. Not gonna be the most comfortable ride, or the most agile. But I can just see someone spending an afternoon going around the block in one (always turning left!), just to see how it feels. I know I would if I had one. I live on a block that is shaped a lot like the track at Phoenix, only about half the size and flat.
Oh, Mindz: Cup cars can turn right, they race on 2 road courses a year. Lots of the things that are done to help the cars turn left are easily removed such as weight biasing. But since these are built from the ground up, I doubt that its much of an issue. And you can get a street legal F1 car, its called the Enzo . . .
