Well the blizzard of 14 is now history. I think I ended up with between 2-3 feet hard to tell with the winds and drifts. Roads were reopened by 6am and the driving bans were cancelled. I went to work the roads were rough with hard packed snow but much better almost down to pavement when I went home. Got into the teens today with a lot less wind so did not feel that bad out relative to yesterday. Schools should be back open tomorrow and life returns to normal.

Good to hear life is returning to normal there. Here too. It was way up to 34 degrees here today. Felt like a heat wave! But folks are still having problems with broken water pipes, broken down cars & fires. We are just not used to those frigid temps around here anymore.

It was a fairly slow day again today. Between folks hafinf problems caused by hte low temps & folks being sick it makes for a high no-show rate. But I got to come home early again. I'm bored!
