And, I agree w/ what you said above. I say that if it can be done safely and "environmentally friendly" (for those that are going to bitch), then let's drill some oil!

My gosh...we're worried about freakin Elk out in the middle of nowhere.....we're not going to take over their entire habitat. We're just looking for some land about the size of a couple football fields. Shoot...we are building so many neighborhoods out in wooded areas over here that it's displacing all the deer. You don't hear anyone crying about that crap, do ya?!?!?! Now the deer are coming back into our neighborhoods eating our flowers, plants, taking over.....we can't do anything about their population since they are protected....they "hit" our cars when we drive through the neighborhoods in revenge...(I mean, hey, they see us coming, right???).....ok, I don't know where I"m going w/ this
Just finished the article. Actually has a lot of good information. Shows again that if the perception by the specualtors would be that the Congress is finally going to get off of their collective butts and go after new resources while working towards alternative energies, the price of oil would begin to fall dramatically. Instead they sit there and blame everyone else and then act like if they were running things it would all be better. Well guess what, they are running things and they could not be any more incompetent than they already are.
