Meh. Anyone can buy a Pro Mod car...IF ya' got $150 -$200k laying around. To me it looks like tires with a body sitting on top.
I'm more impressed with 6 second street legal cars. They are NOT daily drivers, but they can legally be driven on the road. I've ridden in a 6 second Pro Street 1967 Chevelle powered by a Reher-Morrison (LOTS of RM powered cars in DFW) 540" big block, triple stage laughing gas, OH MY GOD car It was a round tube framed car with the rolling chassis built by Paul Peyton. Whomever built the powergliide was a master transmission builder to hold together under that kind of power. I've driven 8 second cars, but this monster put the fear of God into me.
