I just discovered a cool gun for your lady, but it is not out yet. Check this out, it's a .380 that has a swappable .32 barrel. The Beretta PICO. (I think the .32 barrel will be an add-on)
Beretta claims you can swap the barrel in less than a minute. That way, she can start with the .32 and then work up to the better stopping power of the .380 if she chooses. I think I will get one for myself for shoots and giggles when they come out.
(Probably a good idea to wait 6 months for any new gun, but you get the point.)
Looks kinda cool too for a pocket pistol. Would make a great back up piece.
